Request for Childcare
Official UUCF groups may request childcare, to be paid from that group's budget.
Service Description
Only group leaders of approved UUCF Groups may request childcare. Group Leaders must also be UUCF Members or Friends, or sponsored by a Member or Friend of the Congregation. Events must have an appointed Building Liaison who will be responsible for locking and unlocking doors as needed. Requests must be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Childcare staff are paid through the group's budget at the rate determined by the UUCF. Staff are allowed to accept tips. Group Leaders are ultimately responsible for the care and safety of any minors on UUCF property during an event they are hosting. If the event will be longer or shorter than 2 hours, please leave a note in the notes section of your request.
Cancellation Policy
In the event that childcare is arranged but no children arrive for the event, childcare staff will still be paid out the promised time through that group's budget. If an event is canceled, the DRE must be informed 48 hours prior to the scheduled event, otherwise childcare staff will still be paid from the group's budget. Exceptions may be made in cases of extenuating circumstances.
